Some clients need financial counseling before they can advance in the pipeline — typically based on their insurance situation. KeepSight can flag these automatically.

How it works

When enabled, KeepSight checks each client against configurable triggers — for example, high deductible amounts or specific payor types. If a trigger matches, the client is flagged for financial counseling.

Financial counseling has four statuses: not required, pending, completed, or waived.

The Financial Counseling Complete gate blocks pipeline advancement until the status is either completed, waived, or not required.

Completing or waiving financial counseling

On the client record, update the financial counseling status to “Completed” once the conversation has happened, or “Waived” if it’s been determined to be unnecessary for this client.

Things to know

  • Financial counseling is optional — it only applies if your admin has configured triggers in Admin → Financial Counseling Triggers.
  • If no triggers are configured, the financial counseling gate is automatically satisfied.
  • The triggers and thresholds are fully configurable per payor.
